CLARIANA has obtained the Ecolabel certification, being the first company of the Valencian area and the third in Spain to obtain this certification.

The award of the Ecolabel is yet another opportunity to demonstrate its respect for the environment, allowing it to compete and meet the environmental requirements of Europe’s most demanding customers.

This certificate accredits the environmental excellence of those products that demonstrate compliance with strict and complete environmental requirements.

The ecological criteria apply to both pulp and paper production, with the aim of reducing the discharge of toxic substances into the water, reducing environmental damage or risks by limiting energy consumption and corresponding emissions into the atmosphere, applying the principles of sustainable management to protect forests.
